in Kentucky. Our major thrust of
activities is in the Appalachian area,
however, we also provide assistance
throughout the United States to Native
Americans and other qualified recipients
through our approved distribution centers

You a Non-Profit 501 (c)(3)
4.1 Yes, we are legally
recognized by the IRS as a non-profit
501(c)(3) organization. In the event that
you make a contribution, we will provide
tax-exempt donation receipts on request,
as set forth in applicable tax laws and

type of donations do you accept?
6.1 We accept financial
donations, new clothing, new shoes,
canned goods, new school supplies, new
building supplies, automobiles, and
bicycles. Please contact us with

I am donating for Kentucky needs and
assistance, why is my financial
contribution being mailed to Mississippi?
7.1 Appalachian Region
Missions is registered in the State of
KY. The founder and also the Secretary
and Treasurer is located in Olive Branch,
Mississippi as is our centralized bank.
The Executive Director of day-to-day
operations for southeastern KY is located
in Harlan county KY.

8. Can
I donate to a specific cause?
8.1 If
you have a particular program to which
you wish to make a donation, such as food
or clothing to children or the elderly,
or to Native Americans living on
reservations, you may so state in a note
with your donation. You will be provided
proof your request was honored.

9.1 ARM will be happy to

you have a monthly newsletter?
10.1 Not at this time. We
are in the process of publishing a
quarterly newsletter. We will keep you
posted and let you know when this project
is complete!

there a process that I must go through in
order to obtain assistance?
16.1 Yes, there is a
screening process that all applicants are
required to complete in order to
determine appropriate eligibility.
Each application is considered on its
individual merits. We do not guarantee
any application will be accepted, nor do
we guarantee applicants will receive
assistance each and every month. We shall
do our best to adjust to the most urgent
needs of the communities we serve.
