About Us Appalachian Region Missions, Inc. is a non-profit organization, incorportated as 501(c)(3) in the state of Kentucky and is so filed at the Harlan County Kentucky courthouse. We are not affiliated with nor part of any other organization with a similar name.

We provide various types of services that include distriubuting food, clothing, household articles and more! We encourage community involvement and utilize approved volunteers from local communities to provide in-home distribution and assistance to needy families, thus demonstrating our "Neighbor Helping Neighbor" policy.

Our major thrust of activities is in the Appalachian area, however, we also provide assistance throughout the United States to Native Americans and other qualified recipients through our approved distribution centers.

Dedicated Volunteers from the communities being served provide the labor to prepare boxes of food and other items and make deliveries to the homes. Without these volunteers we could not provide free service to the less fortunate. We ask you to remember these dear volunteers in your prayers
